Nature Center

We plan to build The Nature Center, located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, that will offer dynamic and evolving teaching programs geared to touch primarily children, but also adults with a unique wildlife educational experience.

The Nature Center will have a one-of-a-kind teaching and native wildlife care facility that will emphasize education of native wildlife in a hands-on learning environment.

Interaction of injured or orphaned wildlife with the public is an ongoing issue that requires action to rescue, rehabilitate and release the wild animals.

FWRS has the volunteers, training and organizational structure.

Federal, State or local agencies are unable to provide this much needed public service

A permanent home site to centralize FWRS’ wildlife response, public service, care and rehabilitation of wildlife and a nature education center to expose the public to a unique learning environment about the intrinsic value and beauty of our native wildlife and their natural habitats.

In the past 12 months we have raised over $81,000 towards our building fund.

Building donations to date total over $92,000.
